Job Summary
This role involves leading and managing immission control projects, primarily focusing on noise action planning and related assessments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing expert reports on noise protection, air quality, and urban climate aspects, as well as evaluating their findings. They will serve as a key point of contact for urban climate inquiries and represent immission control interests in various internal and external projects, including municipal concepts and planning. Additionally, the engineer will contribute to the implementation of immission control aspects within the climate protection concept and prepare presentations for committees. This position offers an opportunity to actively shape the urban environment in Bergisch Gladbach, working within a supportive team with flexible hours and home office options.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree in Environmental Protection, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Immission Control, or comparable fields.
Experience
- Professional experience in immission control and noise action planning
- Knowledge of relevant technical regulations, standards, and laws (primarily BImSchG) and building codes (BauGB)
