Job Summary
This role is for an Electrical Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of industrial plants within a leading international chemical company. Day-to-day tasks involve technical monitoring, planning, executing, and tracking maintenance, repair, and servicing activities. The technician will conduct regular plant inspections, implement technical modernizations, and coordinate work according to VDE standards, including safety checks. Collaboration with internal departments and external specialists is key, as is supporting the optimization of automation and control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, experience with PLCs and process control systems, and a high sense of safety and responsibility, thriving in a structured and solution-oriented work environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical, Measurement, and Control (E/M+R), such as a Process Control Electronics Technician, Electronics Technician for Automation Technology with additional qualification as a State-Certified Technician, or Master Electrician.
Experience
- • Professional experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), process control systems (PLT), and measurement and control technology.
