Job Summary

This role involves managing the comprehensive processes of infrastructure inspection for Germany's extensive highway network, which includes thousands of bridges and tunnels. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of structural inspections, ensuring quality assurance for both internal and external assessments. Key tasks include evaluating inspection reports according to DIN 1076 standards, managing tenders and contracts for external inspection services, and developing branch-wide solutions for complex technical issues. The position also requires close collaboration with data management and structural analysis teams, as well as the creation and maintenance of occupational safety documentation.
