Job Summary

Join the Kindertagesstätten SüdOst, an enterprise of the State of Berlin operating 44 daycare centers, as an IT Specialist for System Integration. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems across the administration and all daycare facilities. Your daily tasks will involve administrating client, server, and storage systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and monitoring network performance within a Microsoft server environment. You will also be responsible for maintaining PCs, notebooks, printers, and routers, providing support both remotely and on-site. The role includes expanding and renewing IT hardware and software, managing procurement and installation, and overseeing telecommunication systems and mobile devices. This position offers a diverse range of responsibilities, a modern workplace, and the opportunity to contribute to a vital public service.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or comparable IT-related training. For foreign qualifications, proof of recognition in Germany or equivalency is required.

Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge and proven experience in network administration and server support (including virtual servers) in a Microsoft network environment
  • Experience with VPN and backup solutions
  • Basic knowledge of common security standards and technologies, and network security
  • Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM) is desirable
  • Experience in Helpdesk
