Job Summary
The City of Frankfurt am Main is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer for Sewer Rehabilitation to join their wastewater management team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex projects related to the repair and renovation of drainage systems, overseeing all phases from project definition to monitoring project execution. Your day-to-day will involve developing rehabilitation concepts for the sewer network using IT systems, exploring new rehabilitation technologies, and establishing principles for rehabilitation planning. You will also contribute to the development of methods for implementing repair and renovation strategies and assist with economic plan creation and oversight. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to sustainable urban development and ensure the long-term integrity of Frankfurt's vital water infrastructure.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a comparable technical field
Experience
- Long-term professional experience as a Project Engineer
- Experience in the implementation of repair and renovation measures for drainage systems
- Knowledge of relevant rehabilitation technologies
- Knowledge in sewer rehabilitation conceptualization
