Job Summary

As a Permitting Planner, you will be instrumental in the successful execution of a major grid expansion project for a leading European transmission system operator. Your daily tasks will involve preparing, supporting, and managing all required public-law approval and permitting procedures, including planning approval processes (Planfeststellungsverfahren) and those under the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG). You will coordinate internal and external service providers, manage interfaces with various internal departments like easement and crossing management, and engage in crucial discussions with authorities, citizens, and landowners. This role requires meticulous coordination of permit documentation, quality assurance, and active participation in negotiations.
