PLC Automation Technician | SPS-Automatisierungstechniker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

As a PLC Automation Technician, you will be instrumental in connecting people and technologies, ensuring the perfect match for clients by developing cutting-edge automation solutions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include electrical project planning for complex automation systems, programming PLC controls and visualization systems using Siemens Simatic TIA Portal, and ensuring the functionality and operation of these systems. You will directly test project designs and PLC software in the production hall, conduct occasional on-site commissioning, and provide training to client personnel. Additionally, you'll be responsible for analyzing and resolving service issues via remote maintenance. This role requires a completed technical education in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification, along with initial experience in automation technology and proficiency in PLC programs like Siemens Simatic S7/TIA-Portal, Beckhoff/TwinCat 3, or Rockwell/Allen-Bradley. Fluency in German and good English skills are essential for success in this dynamic environment.
