Job Summary

The Ministry of Justice and Health of Schleswig-Holstein is seeking an IT Project and Process Manager to drive the digitalization of the justice system in Kiel. This role involves planning, preparing, and leading IT organizational and digitalization projects within the Schleswig-Holstein judiciary, as well as representing the state in inter-state project committees. A key responsibility will be IT process management, focusing on designing, implementing, training, and developing essential IT processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, Access, and Configuration Management, often aligned with ITIL® standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a structured and goal-oriented approach, and excellent communication and cooperation abilities to work effectively with various justice institutions and external partners. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to significant public sector digitalization efforts.

Required Skills

Education

Completed university degree (Bachelor/Diplom-FH) in relevant fields such as Business Informatics, Business Administration, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, or Law; alternatively, civil service qualification for career group 2, first entry-level, in Justice or General Services.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of proven professional experience in planning and managing multi-stakeholder projects in a (sub-)project leadership role
  • Professional experience in creating and implementing audience-appropriate concepts
  • Professional experience in public authorities or IT organizations of companies (advantageous)
  • Experience in change management (advantageous)
