This role involves ensuring the timely production of test adapters and implementing necessary modifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating essential documentation for test adapter manufacturing, based on electrical diagrams, wiring documents, bills of materials, engineering drawings, and manufacturer data sheets. This documentation is crucial for the electrical testing of control cabinets and components used in locomotives. Key tasks include incorporating design changes into assembly documents, coordinating material procurement, planning mechanical test jigs, and generating CNC programs and technical drawings. The position also involves creating prototypes, connector parts, fixtures, and assembly aids using a 3D printer, along with cost calculation and adherence, and thorough documentation of manufacturing records. This is an excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer with a strong technical understanding to contribute to the development and testing of critical electrical components for the railway industry.
