- Practical experience as a journeyman, master craftsman, technician, or engineer in Information Technology, ideally with hands-on experience in skilled trades
- Expertise in network and telecommunication technology and digital transmission technologies
- Foundational knowledge in information electronics
- Basic knowledge of building systems and their installation/setup
- Desirable: Administrative experience in network architecture, server installation, or multimedia systems
- Desirable: Experience as a lecturer or trainer
