Job Summary

This System Engineer role focuses on the operation and maintenance of critical log management systems within a public sector environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing release and version updates for QRadar, setting up and maintaining logging connections (Syslog) in a BSI-compliant context, and operating a Linux-based log-relay system (RHEL 8.9 with Syslog-ng). Day-to-day tasks include monitoring log systems, assisting with network maintenance and error analysis, and troubleshooting issues related to WEC functionality, Syslog-NG, and Filebeat, often utilizing Python for diagnostics.
