Job Summary
As a Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in industrializing and maintaining software elements for digital products, working closely with software development teams and vendors. Your daily tasks will involve documenting software features, planning and executing release changes, validating software versions, and managing products throughout their lifecycle. You will also serve as a technical point of contact for quality issues and complaints, ensuring version control, compatibility, and interface functionality with other software, while maintaining compliance with relevant standards. The role requires a strong background in software development and support, with expertise in modern wireless and wired data transmission standards and communication protocols. You should be proficient in technologies like Docker, Python, C, Java, or SQL, and possess knowledge of Siemens TIA Portal, Heidenhain solutions, and current PLC software.
