Job Summary

As a Customs and Export Officer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of orders, including order entry and document creation such as delivery notes. A key part of your role involves preparing export and customs documentation, maintaining direct communication with customs authorities and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) to ensure compliance with existing customs permits. You will coordinate with freight forwarders, clients, and internal departments, and provide support to the export team on all customs-related inquiries. Additionally, you will develop and deliver training materials on export and customs procedures, prepare supplier declarations, and manage data within the SAP system. This role requires experience with the ATLAS customs program, strong communication skills, and a background in commercial roles, ideally with some export processing knowledge.
