Physicist (m/f/d) | Physiker (m/w/d)
Universität Würzburg
Job Summary
This role involves pioneering research in the development of light-driven microdrones, focusing on achieving 3D maneuverability with nanometer-scale precision and integrating microfluidic chips for enhanced experimental capabilities. The successful candidate will contribute to the fabrication of microdrones using advanced techniques like FIB and EBL, set up optical systems for 3D control, and implement fast feedback control loops with event-based cameras and SoC/FPGA boards. A key part of the work will be conducting tip-enhanced Raman scattering experiments on biological specimens, aiming to measure membrane proteins of living cells. This position is ideal for a proactive researcher eager to push the boundaries of nanotechnology and biophotonics, offering the chance to work within a highly-ranked university environment and contribute to high-impact scientific publications.
