Job Summary

The University Hospital Heidelberg (UKHD) is seeking a dedicated Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), or Biology Laboratory Technician to join the Dermato-Oncology team at the National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) in Heidelberg. This role involves the independent execution of histological tasks, including paraffin sectioning and various immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence stainings. Key responsibilities also include processing human blood samples according to standard protocols, registering samples in a LIMS, and performing spatial transcriptomic analyses. The ideal candidate will possess strong laboratory technique skills, experience with patient material, and excellent organizational abilities.
