Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive development of aqueous primary and secondary batteries, specifically lithium-ion-based systems, alongside their associated testing and charging technologies. The Hardware Development Engineer will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept and prototyping to system integration, commissioning, and rigorous testing (qualification, verification, validation). A key aspect of the role is ensuring requirements-based development, including the derivation of test cases, and providing support to suppliers for manufacturing process design and quality assurance. This position requires hands-on involvement in commissioning at international client sites and meticulous documentation according to development process guidelines. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, significant experience in battery technology, and proficiency in measurement and control systems.
