Job Summary

This role involves the installation, initial commissioning, and annual calibration of electronic test stations, including DGUV inspections, both in-house and globally at customer sites. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing devices, supporting project managers and clients during preparation and execution of training and acceptance campaigns, potentially aboard submarines or frigates. A critical aspect of the role is handling warheads and torpedo detonators in accordance with German explosives law. Additionally, the technician will train customers on the operation, maintenance, and repair of underwater vehicles and conduct courier transports for classified information. This position requires extensive international travel and a strong technical background in electronics or mechatronics.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree or qualified vocational training in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electronics or mechatronics
  • Experience in field service or customer-facing technical roles
  • Experience with electronic test stations and DGUV inspections is beneficial

Languages

German (Basic)English (Fluent)

  • Willingness to undertake worldwide business trips and extended stays abroad; No health restrictions preventing travel to tropical countries or voyages on ships and submarines; Class B driving license required; Class CE driving license is advantageous.
