Job Summary

The Energy Data Manager will be responsible for organizing and executing energy volume balancing in electricity and gas networks, playing a key role in ensuring sustainable energy supply. This position involves significantly developing energy data management processes to create a central data hub for related energy industry sectors. Key responsibilities include building effective controlling for forecast quality and balancing results, contributing to energy data management projects, and creating detailed requirement specifications and process documentation. The ideal candidate will implement requirements and process adjustments within the energy data management system, often involving software vendors, and continuously analyze, optimize, and develop workflows. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong affinity for IT systems and a proactive approach to problem-solving, offering an attractive compensation package and flexible working conditions within a family-friendly company.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Energy Economics, Business Informatics, (Business) Engineering, Supply Engineering, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in energy volume balancing or energy procurement (ideal)
  • Experience working with information technology systems
  • Experience in independently learning new software systems and tasks

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • This is a full-time position, initially limited to two years.
