Job Summary

This role is for an experienced System Engineer to manage and enhance logging tools within an IT security environment. Day-to-day tasks include operating, maintaining, and developing logging data collection and processing tools, performing updates for QRadar, and configuring Syslog connections in a BSI context. The role also involves supporting new connections, troubleshooting WEC functionality, Syslog-NG, Python, and Filebeat, and managing Syslog and WEC servers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT, particularly with logging software and Linux/Windows server operating systems, coupled with ITIL Foundation certification. This position offers the chance to work in a highly professional and security-critical IT environment with significant responsibility and opportunities for professional growth, including up to 40% remote work.
