Job Summary

As a Lead Electrical Engineer specializing in power converters, you will be instrumental in managing electrical systems for global hydropower plant projects. Your core responsibilities include designing and optimizing converter solutions in collaboration with generator engineering teams, overseeing the implementation of starting and direct converters, and managing DFIM excitations for power plant projects, including auxiliary systems. You will also be responsible for reviewing, coordinating interfaces, and integrating detailed engineering from external suppliers into the overall plant design. This role involves active participation in cost and schedule monitoring, supporting procurement with system specifications, and assisting sales in proposal generation and client negotiations. Expect to engage in global factory acceptance tests, client meetings, and on-site discussions, contributing to a truly international and intercultural work environment.
