Job Summary

This role is for a Materials Tester to join a leading European marine company with over 175 years in shipbuilding, located in Kiel, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various destructive and non-destructive testing methods on materials, including radiography, penetrant, magnetic particle, and ultrasonic testing, as well as tensile, bend, hardness, and impact tests. Key responsibilities also include metallographic examinations, mobile hardness testing, and re-certification of classified materials. The position requires meticulous documentation of results, organization and monitoring of testing processes, and coordination with internal departments, clients, and regulatory bodies.
