As a Safety Manager, you will be the central point of contact for system and product safety within project and product teams at a leading company in the defense and security sector. Your daily tasks will involve analyzing safety-relevant risks, defining countermeasures, and selecting safety-oriented architectures. You will derive safety requirements from customer needs and internal analyses, evaluating existing safety concepts and actively shaping development decisions. This role also includes creating safety documentation, contributing to safety planning in verification and validation processes, and reviewing safety-relevant procedures. You will coordinate safety-related interfaces, engage with customers, partners, and auditors, and contribute to the continuous development of internal safety methods and processes.
