Job Summary
The City of Nauen is seeking a dedicated IT Support Officer to provide essential 1st-level support to the administration. This role involves comprehensive user assistance, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, managing specialized applications, and conducting user training on IT security and new technologies. The successful candidate will also be responsible for setting up and maintaining individual workstations, including home office setups, managing user accounts and permissions, and configuring network components. Additionally, the role encompasses the administration of telecommunications systems, including procurement and setup of phone lines and mobile devices, as well as managing copier systems. This is a full-time, permanent position starting October 1, 2025, offering a stable and family-friendly work environment within a growing municipal center near Berlin.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration, IT System Salesperson, IT System Electronics Technician, IT System Computer Scientist, or comparable IT-related qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system integration or a comparable IT-related field
- Experience in work organization
- Professional experience within the public administration sector
