Job Summary

This role is for a Project Management Specialist focused on AI Digitization Funding, working as a scientific consultant rather than a high-end developer or fundamental researcher. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing project outlines and applications for innovation and 'best chance' initiatives, with a primary focus on project management tasks. Key responsibilities include research acquisition, preparing funding measures and announcements, and comprehensive project supervision and controlling. The position also involves working with high-performance computing, distributed systems, and supporting SME and individual funding, alongside aspects of software engineering. Ideal candidates will possess a scientific university degree in Computer Science or Physics (Master/Diploma), possibly with a doctorate, or other relevant scientific degrees demonstrating research activities related to IT systems. The role requires significant professional experience in supervising research projects, particularly in funding and project management within areas like Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, High-Performance Computing, Software Engineering, SME funding, and/or Learning Systems. Strong knowledge of the national scientific and economic system concerning IT/Software systems, excellent team and communication skills, and strong planning and organizational abilities are essential.
