Job Summary

This role involves leading and coordinating global sales efforts for a leading technology company specializing in complex plant construction. Reporting directly to the Global Sales Director, you will provide technical leadership and coaching to the matrixed Sales Force, including Sales and Application Engineers. Your core responsibilities include actively developing market strategies, coordinating technical and commercial sales and bidding processes, and managing global accounts from pre-order through project handover. You will conduct commercial and technical contract negotiations, develop competitive offers for complex projects, and act as a crucial knowledge resource for local sales teams. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical advanced training at University or FH level (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Process or Chemical Engineering), ideally combined with business management qualifications (Sales, Project Management)

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in comparable global functions as a Sales Manager
  • Experience gained in international structures within the project business of the technical industry (Plant Engineering/Construction or Machinery)
  • Specific practice in highly regulated sectors (e.g., turbomachinery, energy plants, or power plant construction) is advantageous
