Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive support of the spectrometer laboratory in a 5-shift operation, focusing on metal analysis and corrosion testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the spectrometer for stress corrosion checks, maintaining the equipment according to schedule, and independently assessing the quality of incoming foundry samples, initiating complaints if necessary. Key responsibilities also include performing metal analysis on various materials like foundry samples, semi-finished plates, sheets, and coils, meticulously controlling and evaluating analysis results, and ensuring proper documentation. The position requires daily disposal of chips and old samples, tool changes on machines, and general cleaning and troubleshooting tasks.
