Job Summary

As a Customer Support Engineer for Switching Technology, you will be instrumental in maintaining and evolving critical communication systems. Your daily tasks will involve operating and maintaining digital switching systems, analyzing and resolving issues related to voice switching and signaling, and configuring switching centers. You will also be responsible for performing software upgrades and patches in customer or test environments and contributing to projects focused on introducing new services and platforms within Tetra and digital radio networks. This role requires close collaboration with clients, project teams, and other technical departments. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT systems or computer science, significant experience in IT/information systems, and strong knowledge of digital switching technology, preferably with DXT systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Systems Electrician or a degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in IT / Information Systems
  • Profound knowledge in digital switching technology, ideally with practical experience on DXT systems (Nokia)
  • Profound knowledge of mobile communication technologies
