Job Summary

This role is for an innovative Development Engineer specializing in sensor technology for switchgear systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sensor concepts to capture critical plant parameters such as pressure, temperature, voltage, and current. Key tasks include designing sensors and interfaces for higher-level units (RTUs) to transmit plant conditions to control centers or cloud platforms, and developing motor control concepts for switchgear. A significant part of the role involves creating and implementing test concepts to validate functional limits, electrically acquiring various plant states, and forwarding this data to overarching systems. The position also requires controlling GIS switchgear using digital information.
