Job Summary

As a Corrosion Protection and Coating Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical design and project execution of corrosion protection systems, including coatings, galvanization, and cathodic protection, for projects in energy and hydrogen generation, as well as grid connection. This involves creating technical concepts, preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and conducting technical negotiations. You will also manage cost calculations for materials and related work, clarify technical details with clients and suppliers, and lead factory inspections. The role requires supporting construction sites during corrosion protection work, potentially including on-site assignments, and providing expert knowledge to other project disciplines. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the energy transition within an international project environment.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Corrosion Protection Technology, Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field. Ideally, FROSIO or NACE Coating Inspector certification or comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in project execution, ideally in corrosion protection and plant construction
  • Fundamental understanding of project management
  • In-depth knowledge of coating systems for atmospheric and submerged conditions
  • Experience in creating technical concepts
  • Familiarity with relevant norms and regulations
