Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer specializing in Eurofighter Avionics, you will be instrumental in developing and refining critical aircraft systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing and refining system and subsystem requirements, writing software requirements for the aircraft, and developing implementation concepts for sensor functions and weapon systems. You will also create functional prototypes for complex air-to-surface weapon algorithms, support System Hazard Assessments, and optimize designs for operational needs. This role requires a strong understanding of military operational environments, experience in aerospace engineering, and the ability to travel for discussions with clients and partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Engineering or Aerospace, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Professional experience in engineering and aerospace
  • Good understanding of work processes in a military environment
  • Understanding of the practical application of sensors and weapon systems is an advantage
  • Knowledge of system and software development in aircraft
  • Good knowledge of air-to-surface weapon functions (including simulation)
  • Knowledge of the Eurofighter weapon system and aircraft system certification is an advantage
  • Experience with Requirements Management or Requirements Based Engineering (RBE)
  • Experience with System Engineering standards such as ARP 4754a, Incose, or DO178c is desirable
