Job Summary
Join the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), a leading university hospital in Europe, as an IT Specialist. In this role, you will be instrumental in the conception, administration, and operation of server and database systems for complex clinical applications, ensuring the seamless availability of critical data for patient care. You'll be involved in system installations, maintenance, update management, and robust backup/restore procedures. Required Skills
Education
IT-related vocational training or IT-related university degree
Experience
- Professional experience in an IT-related position, or comparable skills and experience from several years of activity in a corresponding position
- Several years of professional experience in the administration of current Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience in the administration of SQL databases, ideally also Oracle systems (advantageous)
- Experience in the comprehensive support of IT systems in a clinical environment (advantageous)
- Experience with typical healthcare data formats such as HL7, xDT, and DICOM (advantageous)
