The Wittmund District is seeking a Civil Engineer with a specialization in Hydraulic Engineering or Water Management to join their Environmental Department. This full-time, permanent position involves diverse responsibilities within the Lower Dike, Port, and Water Authority. Day-to-day tasks include processing water law planning and approval procedures, managing applications for facilities near water bodies, issuing discharge permits, and conducting inspections of second-order water bodies and dikes. The role also involves solving drainage issues, developing drainage plans, and contributing to the implementation of the Water Framework Directive. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and legal knowledge in water management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Required Skills
Education
