Job Summary
This role involves performing commissioning and service tasks for complex communication systems, primarily in Northern Germany, but also internationally. The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, integrating, and commissioning communication devices and systems with a strong IT component, particularly on naval vessels. Key responsibilities include conducting functional tests, verifying system performance, and serving as the primary customer contact. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, significant experience in system assembly and commissioning, and knowledge of communication systems on surface and underwater ships. This position requires a proactive individual who enjoys national and international business travel and possesses strong communication skills.
Required Skills
Education
Completed electrical engineering vocational training (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems), preferably further training as a Master Craftsman or State-certified Technician
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the assembly and commissioning of complex systems
- Knowledge of communication systems on surface and underwater ships
Languages
Additional
- Valid car driver's license; Willingness to undertake national and international business travel, with a primary focus on Northern Germany.
