Job Summary

As the Director of Engineering & Technical Services, you will be the linchpin for all technical operations across smartments Serviced Apartment and Student locations. Your daily responsibilities will include ensuring the impeccable technical functionality and high standards of all buildings, managing and negotiating maintenance and supplier contracts, and developing and overseeing inspection and maintenance schedules. You will also be instrumental in creating annual investment budgets and long-term plans, conducting regular quality checks of technical equipment, and supporting on-site technicians with complex challenges. A key part of your role involves implementing sustainable systems for energy consumption reduction and collaborating with property owners and project developers on technical building equipment and new openings. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with a strong technical background and a passion for ensuring operational excellence in a dynamic environment.
