Job Summary
This role involves designing, implementing, and monitoring advanced IT security measures within a highly security-focused organization. The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for independently identifying attack scenarios, and evaluating and enhancing the effectiveness of implemented IT security measures and cloud-based solutions. A key part of the role is supporting the continuous development and operational implementation of the company's security standards, policies, and regulations. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree with an information technology focus or comparable training/education
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in IT security
- In-depth expertise in the conception and administration of IT security systems
- Expertise in technical and administrative IT security management
- Experience in applying IT security standards (BSI 200-1 to 200-4)
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 27000 series and current cyber security requirements
- Experience and know-how in ITIL-based structures (preferred)
- Experience with IT security certifications (e.g., CISSP/TISSP/CISA/CISM) (preferred)
