This role involves ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for premium pastry and bakery products within a traditional, forward-looking company. You will be instrumental in the Quality Assurance department, focusing heavily on laboratory analysis and system maintenance. Key daily tasks include performing microbiological and chemical testing on food, water, and surface samples, managing laboratory equipment calibration, and executing quality controls across the entire production process. A major component of the job is supporting the maintenance and continuous development of the HACCP system, conducting hygiene checks, assisting with internal and external audits, and handling customer complaints. This is a dynamic opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong quality mindset to contribute to product integrity from development through distribution.
Required Skills
Education
Completed Vocational Education and Training (VET) Diploma as a Laboratory Technician, specializing in Biology
Experience
- Professional experience in microbiological analysis, ideally within food analytics
- Proven ability to handle, maintain, and calibrate testing and laboratory equipment
- Experience in conducting sampling, lab investigations (nutritional values, allergens, shelf-life tests), and documenting quality controls
- Familiarity with supporting internal and external audits
