Job Summary

The City of Frankfurt's wastewater management department is seeking two Operations Preparers for shift operations at their Niederrad and Sindlingen locations. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of wastewater treatment and incineration plants. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing complex operational tasks for various plant components using a management system, coordinating work between external companies and internal staff for maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations. The successful candidate will also be involved in updating technical documentation, creating and maintaining operating instructions, and organizing safety training. This position requires a strong technical understanding, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently within a team. Required Skills

Education

Completed relevant university degree (Bachelor) or completed relevant vocational training with a Master Craftsman qualification (e.g., FAT, UTA, Ver- und Entsorger) or in a plant engineering profession in the field of environmental, process, or electrical engineering.

Experience

  • At least one year of professional experience as a Master Craftsman in the operation of wastewater treatment plants or incineration plants
  • Experience with process control systems
