This role involves leading the Quality Control team at the Grüningen site for Valspar/Sherwin-Williams, a global leader in coatings and paints. You will be responsible for the technical and personnel management of the QC staff, ensuring optimal planning, discipline, cleanliness, and safety within the department. A key part of the job is managing the quality process end-to-end, including processing customer complaints, investigating returns, clarifying shelf-life extensions with suppliers, and coordinating quality assurance efforts with internal departments like Production, Customer Service, and Shipping. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership experience, strong expertise in quality systems within a production environment, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. Excellent communication skills in both German and English are mandatory for success in this highly collaborative and international setting.
