Job Summary
This role is for an experienced PLC Programmer passionate about automation technology and special machine construction. The successful candidate will independently plan and execute automation projects, from development and programming to the commissioning of special machines and systems. Key responsibilities include expanding and optimizing existing control systems, programming with SIMATIC Step7 and TIA Portal for S7-300/400 and S7-1500 controllers, and implementing visualization with WinCC flexible Advanced on SIMATIC Comfort Panels. The position also involves commissioning servo drive systems from leading manufacturers and maintaining technical documentation. This is a full-time, permanent position offering diverse engineering challenges and opportunities for professional development.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Automation Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Practical experience in PLC programming with SIMATIC Step7 and TIA Portal
- Familiarity with S7-300/400 and S7-1500 controllers
- Knowledge in visualization with WinCC flexible Advanced and SIMATIC Comfort Panels
- Experience with commissioning servo drives (Lenze, SEW, potentially Allen-Bradley)
