This role is for a dedicated Trackside Systems Engineer specializing in motorsport, focusing on ensuring the flawless operation of vehicle sensors from initial setup to final testing. The successful candidate will be responsible for integrating new sensor technology, managing sensor data, and programming sensor and calibration curves using tools like RaceCon. Day-to-day tasks include downloading and converting vehicle data, maintaining sensor build sheets, and collaborating closely with automotive manufacturers to resolve issues and report progress. The engineer will also oversee the electronic vehicle network, flash control units, monitor system functions, and perform minor hardware repairs to ensure vehicle readiness. This position is ideal for someone passionate about motorsport electronics and precise data management in a fast-paced racing environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Automotive Technology, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Initial experience in motorsport
