This role involves creating and reviewing road designs, including spatial planning and approval documents, as well as execution plans, often in collaboration with external engineering firms. The successful candidate will coordinate with various authorities, planning bodies, and affected parties, ensuring compliance with regulations like HOAI for external engineering services. Key responsibilities also include participating in spatial planning and approval procedures, drafting statements on objections, and preparing cost-sharing agreements. This position requires a proactive, reliable professional with strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing projects and resources effectively within a public sector environment. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification for civil servants (First Entry Level, Career Group 2, Technical Services)
Experience
- Professional experience in road planning and design
- Experience with specialist applications (e.g., BIM) is desirable
