Job Summary

This role involves planning, coordinating, and executing maritime geoinformation support for crisis prevention teams and information systems within the German Navy. The successful candidate will manage data exchange, develop and test interfaces for maritime geodata in GIS, and adapt procedures for integrating data from imaging sensors into the maritime geoinformation database. They will also represent their department in various working groups, process data from underwater and mine warfare data centers, and conduct onboard briefings and training. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree (FH or equivalent) in Geoinformatics or a comparable field. For civil servants, qualification for the higher technical administrative service or higher scientific service is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in applying geographic information systems
