Job Summary
The Head of IT Department will lead the IT division for the Wittenberg district administration, overseeing the development and implementation of IT infrastructure and service management concepts. This role involves driving the digitalization strategy, ensuring information security, and defining quality standards for IT services. Key responsibilities include financial oversight, project management for high-priority IT initiatives, and managing collaborations with IT service providers. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science, Digitalization, Information Technology, Communications Engineering, or equivalent. Certification of equivalence for foreign degrees is required. "Beschäftigtenlehrgang I or II (BI/BII)" is desirable.
Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant practical professional experience, preferably in public administration
- Leadership experience preferred
