Job Summary

As an IT Service Technician, you will be a crucial part of the team ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT services for the German Armed Forces. Your daily tasks will involve accepting, analyzing, and resolving IT incidents and requests related to PC, telephony, LAN, and WAN environments, meticulously documenting all actions in a ticketing system. You'll provide essential second-level, on-site support, serving as the direct point of contact for users within the Federal Ministry of Defense. This role also includes installing, commissioning, upgrading, and maintaining hardware and software, conducting safety inspections (DGUV V3), and contributing to quality assurance. You will participate in projects to adapt and expand existing IT infrastructures, requiring readiness for on-call duty and shift-like work patterns.
