Job Summary
This role involves developing and designing fully and partially automated vehicle systems for industrial technology, adhering to machinery directives and regulations. The successful candidate will create PLC programs, drive software modules, PLC networks, and visualization/PC applications according to functional safety standards like ISO 12100, ISO 13849-1/2, and DIN EN 62061. Key responsibilities also include developing test and simulation systems, preparing comprehensive system documentation, and supporting risk analyses. The position requires participation in commissioning and system tests both domestically and internationally. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree or further training as a technician in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in automation technology, preferably in vehicle manufacturing
- Strong understanding of PLC controls, sensor technology, and battery technology
- Experience in HMI programming
- Knowledge of a high-level language (e.g., C#, Python) is beneficial
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git
- Proficient in MS Office 365, Teamcenter, SAP, ticketing systems (Jira), and Confluence

- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 25% of working hours).
