Job Summary

The German Cancer Research Center is seeking a part-time (50%) Research Technician for the DKTK Research Project "ASTRON" at its Frankfurt/Mainz partner site. This role primarily involves conducting in vitro and 3D bioprinting experiments focused on next-generation cellular interventions that synergize with mRNA interventions. The technician will develop and test these interventions in conjunction with mRNA patterns, contributing to vital cancer research. Key responsibilities include extensive cell culture, CAR/TCR-engineering, mRNA interventions, molecular biology techniques like PCR and Western Blotting, functional testing of T-cells, and assisting with in vivo oncology models. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research, work with state-of-the-art equipment, and be part of an internationally networked team dedicated to finding new cancer prevention and treatment strategies.

Required Skills

Education

BTA (Biological Technical Assistant), MTA (Medical Technical Assistant), or equivalent qualification

Experience
