Job Summary

This role is for a Commissioning Engineer specializing in High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) systems, based in Forchheim, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting integration tests and functional checks of control and protection hardware and software for HVDC systems in a test center, as well as performing and documenting Functional Performance Tests (FPT) and Dynamic Performance Tests (DPT), including customer acceptance tests. A key aspect of the role involves worldwide commissioning of HVDC/HGÜ systems, ensuring technical, timely, and economic compliance. The position also requires supporting commissioning management in quality, risk, and claim management, and actively participating in improvement programs like Lean and technical reviews.
