Job Summary

This role is for an engaged System and Database Administrator to join an IT team, focusing on the reliable support and development of complex IT systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for PostgreSQL and MS-SQL database administration, including backup and recovery, alongside managing Windows and Linux server and network infrastructures. Day-to-day tasks involve 1st to 3rd level support, system monitoring using CheckMK, and active participation in IT projects from planning to implementation. The position requires strong technical expertise in Linux, PostgreSQL, and monitoring tools, coupled with a structured, solution-oriented approach and excellent communication skills to advise departments and coordinate external service providers.
