Job Summary
This role involves leading and coordinating projects focused on implementing the European Water Framework Directive (WFD) and flood protection measures. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating planning documents and service specifications, managing external consultants, and coordinating with various stakeholders including authorities and landowners. Key tasks also include overseeing construction implementation, ensuring quality assurance, and preparing funding applications and cost calculations. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to ecological preservation and flood control within the Felda/Ulster/Werra river basin, working with a dedicated team in a responsible and varied role.
Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Bachelor or Dipl.-Ing. FH) in Civil Engineering, Water Management, Hydraulic Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or comparable field.
Experience
- Professional experience in project management
- Experience with public procurement law (Vergaberecht) is desirable
- Experience in applying for funding is desirable
- Practical experience in aquatic ecology and hydraulic engineering is advantageous

- Must possess a Class B driving license and be willing to conduct fieldwork within the association's area.
