Job Summary
This role is for a Lead Electrical Engineer in plant construction, focusing on electrical, instrumentation, and control systems (EMSR). The successful candidate will lead projects, provide expert technical consulting to clients, and design electrical switchgear for low and medium voltage distributions. Key responsibilities include field and wiring planning for chemical plants, ensuring functional safety, and creating comprehensive plant documentation. The position also involves preparing technical documents such as circuit diagrams, functional diagrams, and cable plans, along with specifying electrical, measurement, and automation devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical or EMSR technology, experience with explosion protection and functional safety (SIL), and proficiency in relevant design software. Required Skills
Education
Degree (Dipl./Bachelor/Master) in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or Automation Technology; or completed electrical vocational training with technical further education; or comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical and/or MSR technology
- Desirably >5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience in explosion protection, functional safety (SIL), hazard analyses, and safety assessments
- Experience with Dialux, Simaris, Trimble Nova, AutoCAD 2D or similar applications
